After 100 years Stage Coach service has returned to the town of Leadville! We offer one and 2.5 hour Stage Coach rides down Halfmoon Road.
In the nineteenth century Congress funded the development of transcontinental roads and stage service to improve mail delivery. These mail contracts always had a time limit for delivery. The time limits, usually around 25 days, required round the clock operation with coaches routinely arriving at their destination at all hours of the night. To commemorate these daunting cross country journeys we offer one hour Moonlight stage rides monthly on the night of the full moon.. The table below shows the date, day of week, time of sunset (approximate moon rise), and coach departure times. Cost is $90.00 per person, reservations are required. Minimum of 4 passengers.

Additionally half day and one our stage coach rides are available by reservation and can normally be scheduled to meet your transportation needs. Half day rides are $150 per person and one hour rides are $85. We will customize any Stage coach ride for your party, but there is a $350 minimum charge.
